10 things,
1, i am a perfectionist. i strive for as much excellence i can manage. it may be a side effect of being a dancer, but either way, it is present in my being.
2, dance, is not a hobby. it is a passion, and only a passion. it is my freedom, my escape, it’s art. why do i dance? why do you breathe?
3, i like clean. not because i’m obssesive, but because i like things clean. neat. simple. easy to find.
4, i have no intentions to hurt people. that would be the hugest crime.
5, i have trouble prioritizing myself, and others i care about.
6, past evidence has supported that compassion, seems to be of my nature. it has also hurt me.
7, i love children. i awe in wonder, of the capability, of human potential.
8, i refer to most living things by what i see them to be. in short, i generalize. unless i know them well, i call things: dog, cat, child, person, children, adult.
9. i am scared of hurting others. i fear that my ignorance may harm another; especially if they don’t deserve it.
10, i want to teach. whatever i know, at least.
Alan Rickman reads Shakespeare’s Sonnet 130
My mistress’ eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red than her lips’ red;
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damask’d, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound;
I grant I never saw a goddess go;
My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground:
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare.i love how there are actors that can still read shakespeare correctly, and so beautifully. thank you gifford, core9, for teaching me how to read, undestand, listen, and love shakespeare. and the fact that it’s alan rickman, only makes it that more delicous.
